Damage to Batteries by Frequent Overcharging |
Time:2019-07-28 Source:http://www.sonnenschein-bj.com Views:2960 |
Frequent overcharging is harmful to batteries. The charging process and overcharging protection are controlled by a new hybrid circuit with pulse width modulation (PWM) to ensure the smooth charging of batteries. The ideal final charging voltage decreases with the increase of battery temperature. When the temperature rises to a certain extent, a fixed final charging voltage will make the battery continue to overcharge, leading to uncontrollable gasification. Temperature tracking will reduce the final charging voltage when the temperature is high, and increase the final charging when the temperature is low. The range of temperature compensation coefficient of battery is set at 5.0mV/ C. cell. The temperature tracking function with integrated induction is activated during cycling and balanced charging. For the protection of load safety, the final charging voltage will never exceed (28.8V for 24V system and 14.4V for 12V system) 28.8V (for example, balanced charging at low temperature). First of all, we should check whether the appearance of the battery is clear. Whether the electrolyte overflows to form a conductive layer. Then check whether there is bad contact between the pile head and the conductor, or bad tie-in. The diagnostic method is to disconnect the power switch, remove the negative connection of the battery and scratch it on the pole pile. If sparks occur at this time, it indicates that there is a short circuit inside the battery, it should be dismantled and repaired.
The thickness of the battery increases with the number of cycles, but does not increase after more than 50 cycles. Generally, the normal increase is between 0.3 mm and 0.6 mm, and the aluminum shell is more serious. This phenomenon is caused by normal battery reaction. However, if the thickness of the shell is increased or the internal material is reduced, the expansion phenomenon can be appropriately alleviated.
It consists of a newly developed lead-calcium-tin alloy lattice, a well-structured living material, a high-performance isolation plate and an electrolyte. It has the characteristics of low self-discharge rate and long service life of 15 years.
High discharge rate discharge characteristics
The new material isolator has the characteristics of low impedance when used in batteries. It can provide higher discharge rate than traditional water-adding batteries.
Design of Economic Form
Using new raw materials and new design methods, it is unnecessary to add water, check the proportion of sulphuric acid and charge equally. For horizontal installation, overlapping installation can reduce 40-50% installation space, save 50% installation time and reduce maintenance manpower.
Combinatorial use
Single cells installed horizontally are used in series with sufficient current to carry the capacity and strength of the whole battery pack to meet the individual needs of users.
